You love that tiny human and you are driving yourself crazy trying to keep up with everyone else's well meaning, yet often conflicting advice. Google, Facebook mommy groups, your neighbour and Instagram all sending you messages about your baby's sleep and you can't keep it all straight.

At the end of the day, it's hard not to feel like you are failing when you can't get that precious bundle to sleep as much as you think they "should".

Is my baby normal?

WHAT is normal?

Am I doing it wrong?

Is it supposed to be this HARD?

First of all, all of those feelings are normal (in fact I definitely had those thoughts cross my mind more than a few times while huddled in the dark with my first born).

And second of all, in a culture that would have you believe that there are only two choices when it comes to infant sleep (you know what I'm talking about…. cry it out OR wait it out and continue to be miserable), I want you to know there is an approach that considers your unique baby and family to support you with a middle ground.

I am a certified Baby-Led Sleep and Wellbeing Specialist, pediatric occupational therapist, twin mom, preemie mom, and mom to a highly sensitive child who is crazy passionate about empowering mamas to filter out the noise and tune into their instincts. These days we have access to an overwhelming amount of information and opinions, and it can knock us off of our axis and make us lose our bearings.

I know it happened to me.

I doubted myself, and started to look to others for the answer. I am so happy to support parents with an approach to sleep that does not tell you what you SHOULD do.

That's right- I will not should on you!

I have information, but only you have the answer for your child. You ARE the answer for your child. I can't wait to help you really feel it and believe it!

Keep scrolling to learn about how we can work together and co-create solutions that FEEL GOOD for you and your individual baby or child with an evidence-based approach rooted in interpersonal neurobiology and attachment science.

Come chat with this fellow mama (who draws on her experience as a pediatric therapist) about your newborn's sleep. This option includes a comprehensive and holistic intake, thorough analysis and a 90 minute consultation to address sleep foundations, common sleep challenges, sleep red flags, and setting the stage for an empowered parent to tackle the ever moving target of sleep over that first year. You get the opportunity to pick the brain of a certified Baby-led Sleep and Wellbeing Specialist, getting your questions answered in a completely safe and judgement-free zone! I won't "should" on you: I provide the information and empower you and your instincts to BE the answer your child needs.

An informed parent is a confident parent, and you will learn about:

  • Sleep environment

  • Infant feeding

  • Emotional wellness

  • Sleep science

  • Infant development

  • Attachment (the basics)

You will receive a personalized education to meet the needs of your unique family and child. You will also be provided with unlimited access to videos and handouts regarding the sleep foundations and normal infant sleep.

Okay, so perhaps you survived that four month sleep progression (just barely!). Or maybe, your baby continues to wake up through the night but Karen from Mommy Group is telling you that there is "no reason" for your little one to do this anymore and you aren’t convinced. Or maybe, mama- you are exhausted, touched-out, and desperate for more sleep and support but do not want to sleep train.

This option is for mamas with babies 4- 24 months, who either just want more information to make sure they are on the right track or are ready to embrace an approach that is not cry-it-out (but also not continue to suffer and wait-it-out).

I fully believe that an informed parent is a confident parent.  This option is for parents that want to be informed and confident with regards to age-appropriate sleep behaviour. We will dig into why your baby is waking and work together to create a collaborative plan to support, soothe and ease them into new patterns and routines without the use of formal sleep training. You will gain an understanding of 'normal' infant sleep and how to best support your child through these stages.

No two babies or families are the same, you can be rest assured that I will not try to slap a "one size fits all" plan on you. Together we co-create a plan that feels good for you, embraces the needs of your unique baby, and empowers you to always trust your instincts first.

We encourage you to keep the pieces of your sleep routines that you love, and support you to make changes to the pieces that are not working. I will always support bedsharing and breastfeeding if these are part of your goals.

This sleep education and collaborative sleep plan includes:

  • A comprehensive and holistic intake with a thorough and individualized analysis

  • Private 90 minute virtual consultation (using Zoom).

  • A discussion around age-appropriate sleep and what is ‘normal’.

  • A brainstorming session on how to get more sleep and the co-creation of a sleep plan.

    • Videos, Articles and handouts to further your understanding of sleep and attachment.

    • In some instances,  I may recommend other professionals and practitioners (i.e. pediatric dentists, naturopathic doctors, lactation consultants, etc) to address any issues I identify that may be impacting sleep out of my scope of practice. It truly takes a village!

    • A detailed and comprehensive follow up email detailing all topics/education discussed in our call and your individualized plan and goals.

Call me crazy, but toddlers might be my favourite.

Big personalities emerge, and so do lots of big feelings.

With a healthy dose of understanding the brain and emotional development for this age group, an appreciation of human attachment theory and a shift in your parenting perspective- you might come to love them just as much as me.

Are you battling bed time with your toddler?

Are you worried about that crib to bed transition, or perhaps you already gave that a go and it isn't working out so great? Or maybe you’ve been bed sharing and ready for a change, or a new sibling is on the way.

Maybe you want some support about night weaning your toddler, or maybe you are still faced with multiple night wakings.

No matter the challenge you and your toddler are facing, I'm here to problem solve with you. I'm here to educate and empower you to keep parts of bedtime you love and make changes to the parts that are no longer working. All while supporting your child's emotions and your relationship above all else.

This option includes a holistic intake with an analysis (popping on my mama, pediatric therapist, child development and Baby-Led Sleep and Wellbeing glasses) before completing a 60 minute virtual consultation with you on Zoom.

It also includes:

  • A brainstorming session on how to get more sleep and the co-creation of a sleep plan.

    • Videos, Articles and handouts to further your understanding of toddlers, sleep and attachment.

    • One 30 minute follow up call within a month of initial consultation.

Alright, so we've worked together and have gotten down to the nitty gritty about "normal" sleep, ruled out any red flags and addressed any problem areas. Now it's time to do the hard work of changing patterns that are no longer working for you, while supporting baby and their emotions through the process.

Some of you may wish to work through this part on your own, or you might want the continued safe, non-judgmental support and wisdom of a fellow mama, pediatric therapist, and Baby-Led Sleep and Wellbeing Specialist. Raising a child is HARD. Following our instincts in the day and age of Google is HARD. Mama, it takes a village and we weren't meant to do this alone.

Keep me along for your journey with continued support with the following options:

One Month (30 Days) of Daily Support  $300

Includes:

Daily email support (up to 5x per week) following your sleep education and plan call to empower you in making all of the changes discussed and working toward your goals. Fill out a log each morning and expect an email response from me that afternoon to cheer you on or provide a few recommendations you can choose from to tweak your plan if needed. Feel empowered to make the best choice for your individual baby, and get reinforcement multiple times a week to remind you that you are your child's best bet!

This option also includes up to two 15-30 minute virtual calls (via Zoom) to get us started or troubleshoot any issues that pop up.

Two Weeks Email Follow Up Only $100

Includes:

Daily email support (up to 5x per week) either following your sleep education plan call to empower you in making all of the changes discussed OR perhaps we've already rocked our sleep plan call, you've already completed the one month of daily support package and we've had a few unexpected road bumps along the way and need just a teeny bit more time together to smooth out a few things. You've totally got this, but I've got your back, too!

Fill out a log each morning and expect an email response from me that afternoon to cheer you on or provide a few recommendations you can choose from to tweak your plan if needed. Feel empowered to make the best choice for your individual baby, and get reinforcement multiple times a week to remind you that you are your child's best bet!

Support Call As Needed (Hourly Rate $100/hour, or $50 for 30 mins)

Feeling super pumped up after our sleep plan call and ready to tackle this with your partner and village of family and friends? You are empowered to follow your instincts, but you aren't someone that feels like they need the daily check ins or support but may want to book a support call here or there for guidance or when you are stumped? Then this option is for you.

Dive into your sleep plan on your own, but schedule a half hour or hour long call as needed.

**(This option is only available to clients who have already completed a collaborative sleep plan call with me).
